Moving On with Shoval Tshuva

Rivky sits down with Israeli filmmaker Shoval Tshuva to tell the story of how Shoval found her power by making the film she wished existed. She shares the effect her film has had on other survivors of sexual assault, why titwas important to direct her own story and what its been like for her post Oct 7.

Writer, director, and actor Shoval Tshuva was born and raised in Israel. Her background in journalism heavily influences her voice as a filmmaker. She draws her strong female narratives from life experiences and is inspired by multicultural art media such as - literature, cinema, art, fashion, and photography. Her debut film, Funky, is currently in the festival circuit and was selected by a number of them.
